Clear your calendar for March 30!
We'll begin in the sanctuary for worship, move outside to dedicate the pollinator garden and bury the time capsule, then go into the Saguaro Center for a spaghetti lunch (hosted by Quail Hour) and congregational meeting (to vote on our budget and approve leaders).
Bring sunglasses, wear a spring/floral outfit, and dust off those old big church hats if you have one for our garden party! We can't wait to see you there!
This past Sunday during worship, Pastor Kelley talked about her stained-glass art class. Since so many of y'all asked about this process and what her creation looked like, we've gathered a few of her pictures to show the process unfolding. The class was taught by The Glass Desert.

“An Opportune Time.” comes from Luke’s Gospel, right after Jesus is baptized. From that moment forward, everything shifts. His life, his purpose, his calling—it all unfolds piece by piece. That’s what Lent offers us, too. A chance to move forward. To let go of what holds us back and embrace something deeper. A time to be shaped, stretched, and maybe even surprised by what we find along the way.

As Christian Pastors, our heart hurts at the ways Jesus is being used as a weapon, a tool for hate.
The questions of how and why seem to pop up more often than not in this time.
And so, shall we approach this moment, with open hearts and an unwavering commitment to the call of Jesus—a call that invites us to love, to act, and to create a world where all God’s children can flourish.

Epiphany: a manifestation, a showing forth
Epiphany is where “O Come Let Us Adore Him” becomes “Go Tell It on the Mountain.” In Advent we spin inward in an effort to make room for Jesus’ coming. At Christmas we celebrate the beautiful and scandalous birth of Jesus. And in Epiphany we are sent out with the light, to be a light.
Happy New Year! You are invited to Quail Hour 2025 after church starting Sunday, January 12th.
If you’ve joined this discussion group before, we want to let you know that it’ll be a little different this time. No book to buy, no reading to catch up on during your busy week… just come and add your voice to the conversation as we build and nurture a community to face the upcoming year together.

Read MoreThe Dream Team is our new collaborative approach to ministry grounded in our four core intentionalities: Sacred, Missional, Intergenerational, and Inclusive. Each season, a group of four to six people (not the same people each time but different based on the individuals) along with one pastor and our Creative Worship Director, will gather for a mini-retreat to design the ministry for that season.
The Dream Team isn’t just another committee or a group of individual assigned tasks. It’s more than that. It’s a shared calling in ministry. I
We are a church filled with extraordinary people, each uniquely called and equipped to participate in God’s on-going work and we want to give y'all an opportunity to share that! We are also a church full of busy people with limited time they want to give to the church. So we want to help make that happen.
