Donations for Aviva children

Saguaro's DWM (Disciples Women's Ministries) group is asking for donations for Aviva, an organization that helps children through DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services). The children are removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse and usually leave with very little.

We can help by donating underwear, socks, toys, books, or hygiene items for ages 0-18. There is a box in the front office for your donations.

Weave, Weave Us Together

We're having such a wonderful time together with our new sermon series. We are calling it Weave, Weave us Together. It's beautiful to think of generations upon generations weaving together stories and traditions. We get to participate in that weaving, albeit it metaphorically but still, imagine God weaving an intricate detailed piece of art.

Join us as we spend some time with SCC's 4 intentionalities (I know I know it's not a word, but it is for now) They are sacred, missional, intergenerational and inclusive.

Upcoming Class— Inside, Outside, Upside Down: Lots of Ways to Pray!

Come and explore prayer with Dawna Petersen and Donna Gustafson for a fun and growing time of exploring lots of ways to pray and connect with God.

We’ll meet at 11:00 in the Saguaro Room after the Sunday service; a hearty snack will be provided.

All ages are welcome! Kids will be together with adults the first week, and will meet with Kelley for prayer activities the last three weeks.

Leadership Retreat!

The Board of Directors of Saguaro Christian Church had a wonderful leadership retreat on Sunday, March 13. We talked about our board's work to do this year and we began our class called Race, Grace, and the Gospel together. It was a great Sunday afternoon. COVID Guidelines update

The In Person Return Task Force (IPR-TF) met this week to review our current COVID-19 guidelines. Beginning today, with the CDC’s most recent statement, the decline in COVID-19 cases, and Pima County dropping their mask requirements, the (IPR-TF) has prayerfully decided to update their mask guidelines. Masks are now optional during worship and on-campus meetings.
