Weave, Weave Us Together

We're having such a wonderful time together with our new sermon series. We are calling it Weave, Weave us Together. It's beautiful to think of generations upon generations weaving together stories and traditions. We get to participate in that weaving, albeit it metaphorically but still, imagine God weaving an intricate detailed piece of art.

Join us as we spend some time with SCC's 4 intentionalities (I know I know it's not a word, but it is for now) They are sacred, missional, intergenerational and inclusive.

We began with the Sacred, as that roots and grounds us. Last week we explored Missional, and thought through how Missional includes both charity and justice. Sunday, September 11, we’ll look at Intergenerational and bless our students, teachers, and school staff. Next week, September 18, we'll conclude with Inclusive.

For those of y'all worshiping with us online, we invite you to find 4 ribbons, shoelaces, string, or something that you can tie together. We encourage you to tie 3 of them together representing Sacred, Missional, and Intergenerational. Over the next few weeks we'll use the other 2 ribbons. Looking forward to the ways God continues to Weave us All together!
