Arizona Disciples Women's Retreat

The Arizona Disciples Women's Ministries (DWM) annual retreat is coming up September 9 - 11 at the beautiful Chapel Rock Retreat Center in Prescott.

If you've never been to one of these retreats, here are some things that happen there:

• fantastic meals (that you don't have to prepare or clean up)

• a variety of workshops (such as crafts, yoga, service projects, and spirituality)

• singing (a mix of familiar songs and new ones)

• worship (creatively and intentionally designed)

• keynote speaker (Rev. Liz DeWeese from First Christian Church in Mesa this year)

• fun evening activities (such as games, skits, dancing, talent show...this year's are in the planning stages)

• fellowship with women from all over Arizona

This year's theme, "Let Love Lead" was inspired by an original song written by Saguaro Christian Church’s Keith Koster! We'll be singing it at the retreat.

Donna Gustafson and Casey Stockdale are the retreat chairs and have planned a fantastic experience. Wende Gonzales will be leading the singing. Lisa Jackson is preparing an amazing essential oil workshop, too.
