The Saguaro Christian Church office is a happening place during the week much more happens on our church campus besides Sunday service!

We're looking for 1-2 volunteers each morning to help from 9:30 am-12:30 pm in the office.

Volunteers may answer phones, take messages, accept donations, hand out food bags, resource individuals who come seeking assistance, and help share God's love on the corner of Broadway and Sarnoff by getting to know our neighbors.  Will you volunteer to be one of these helpful people, one morning a week? Ready for an open & affirming service & justice learning trip? Check out Be The Neighbor! We are a Disciples based ministry with 17 sites across the country. Registration for our 2025 youth, young adult or intergenerational trips is open. A Be The Neighbor trip will equip your group to live a life of love, service and justice around topics like anti-racism, environmental justice, food justice & disaster relief. Come join us to be the neighbor our faith calls us to be!

We've recently partnered with PMHDC Southwest Medical Aid (PSMA). Mary Renaud and Cathie Carson discovered that this organization would accept all the donated wheelchairs, walkers, shower benches, etc. that the church had accumulated. In turn, PSMA will provide us with any medical equipment needed by members of our congregation and community, free of charge. We gain extra storage space and a terrific non-profit partner!

We'll have our annual Trunk or Treat on Halloween, October 31, 6:00–8:00 pm here at Saguaro Christian Church!

Please bring in candy or small toys by October 30 for the trunks, and sign up to volunteer during the event. Pastor Jessica or Missy Crobbe can help you with any questions.

The United Church of Christ and Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) have issued a joint statement on the current crisis in Haiti as the Global Ministries. Global Ministries is a joint witness in mission between the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

The letter is endorsed by UCC General Minister and President, the Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson, as well as Acting Associate General Minister/Co-Executive of Global Ministries, Rev. Shari Prestemon; and cosigned by the Rev. Teresa Hord Owens, General Minister and President of the Disciples of Christ along with the Rev. Dr. LaMarco Cable, President of the Disciples Overseas Ministries/Co-Executive of Global Ministries.
