Quail Hour updates

Come to the Quail Hour! This educational opportunity is for ALL people and happens in the Quail Room after worship each Sunday. This is like Sunday School, but not like Sunday School.

Quail Hour is an intentional community, connection, and considering time following Sunday worship. There are two classes that will be together some, and apart some as well.

Quail Option 1 is a book discussion. This is designed for more THINKERS. Designed with older youth and adults in mind.

Ever wonder what your neighbors of different faiths think -- and do -- in response to today’s social justice issues?In this collection of 30 first-person stories from eight different faith traditions, hear how diverse religious beliefs inspire generous acts of justice and love amidst our world’s violence and divisions. These personal stories illuminate faith enacted, while shining a light into the diverse beliefs practiced by our neighbors, and our shared hopes for building a better world.

Perhaps you, too, have a story to share. It's never too late to join in the quail hour!

The book discussion group will kick off its next session studying Blessed are the Women.

Quail Option 2: "Prays Well with Others" is a time spent coloring, creating, and conversing about other religions. We'll actively engage our minds as we create together. This is designed for more DOERS. Designed with young youth and more active minds. We continue our interactive time learning and growing with other faiths. Parents, guardians, grownups, young people, and active learners: Meet with Pastor Kelley after worship to hear of the exciting new possibility for the fall. We'll meet in the library. Questions?
