On Sunday at the Board meeting, our Interim Administrative Assistant Frances Johnson announced her retirement plans. While we celebrate with Fran and her retirement, her shoes are big to fill. We are so grateful for the love and care that she has shown Saguaro during these past 7 years.

Barbara would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to the community of Saguaro for all that they have done for her and share in communion around the table over stories and memories and all the joy of life. Jessica, along with Shasta and Hank(her 2 pups) has arrived safely in Tucson and is getting herself settled to her new area.
We are so excited and we hope you are too!!
80 meals prepped in 30 minutes? YES! It happened on July 16 with an amazing crew in the kitchen under the direction of Kerry Swindle who said, "It was fun."
Let's make the magic happen again on August 13! All are welcome.

It is necessary to temporarily stop accepting clothing donations at the church while I travel and have surgery. However, the need continues, so please consider taking your donations to St. Mark’s church, 736 E. 2nd St., Mon.-Thurs. 9 am-12 pm. If you are interested in volunteering, send an email to volunteers@casaalitas.org.
There are many ways you can help that can be adapted to your availability and interests. You will make God’s love real.
