The Christian Church (DOC) has started a new opportunity. With the leadership of Allison Lanza and Mary Lu Johnston, Be The Neighbor was created. This is a justice-based service-learning trip ministry that equips youth and adults to live lives of love, service, and justice. Be The Neighbor visualizes a world where through love of neighbor justice is realized, people flourish, and communities are made whole.

AND THIS SUMMER:
Saguaro CC and FCC Tucson are hosting three weeks of Be The Neighbor groups. Saguaro CC is providing the leadership with Pastor Kelley and FCC Tucson is providing their hospitality center for groups to stay.

Groups will serve with organization in town like Casa Alitas, and have conversations around borders and boundaries with local faith leaders. They will explore our city as they explore immigration. The third week's group we also go into Mexico. We invite your prayers for the groups and their leaders.

Saguaro has two additional people helping out with Be The Neighbor.
