Please bring in clothing for Casa Alitas!
At Casa Alitas we try to provide basic clothing (one set of underwear and socks) and if needed, shirt, pants, jacket, and if we have them, shoes. However, the new funding does not allocate money for clothing, so now, more than ever, clothing donations are needed. We are focused on only serving families with children under 10, pregnant women, and other vulnerable people. (Other LPAs are sent to another shelter, run by a for-profit entity.)
Saguaro has been faithful in making clothing donations; your ongoing support is valued. Please continue to remember those struggling to seek a better life here. Please bring your clothing donations to the large bin in our narthex.

Blessing of the Animals
October 13 at 10 am worship
We invite everyone to send in a picture of their beloved animals for a slideshow as part of the service. Upload the file to this Google Drive Folder. Name the file in the Google Drive Folder with pet name/owner (ie. Shasta and Hank/Jessica Braxton). OR you can simply email your pet photo with pet and owner names to rev.jessicabraxton@saguarochristian.org.
Pets are also invited to be present in service on October 13th, but whether they are in person or not, we would still love to have them on the slideshow.

2024 Regional Assembly
Saguaro Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is part of the Christian Church in Arizona region. Every two years we have a Regional Assembly where all the Arizona Disciples of Christ churches gather together to worship, attend workshops, conduct regional business, and elect our new leadership.

Meet Deb Anderson, Operations Manager
I’m a multi-generational Arizonan. My mother’s ranching family settled nearby in the late 1800’s. Tucson has always been my home base, although as a government service brat, I lived in five southwestern states while growing up. I’m a quantum theory geek. Second Saturday July update: Christmas in July party!
Saguaro Christian Church is bringing the Christmas spirit early with a Christmas in July Party!
On Saturday, July 13, we'll gather from 5 to 7 pm for a potluck-style meal and white elephant gift exchange, so bring your favorite Christmas dish and a gift under $20. We'll eat and worship and commune around tables of love as we share the Christmas-in-July spirit in preparation for the Christmas morning to come.
