Celebration of Life for Barbara Miranda
November 19 at 11:30 am in the Saguaro Center
Barbara would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to the community of Saguaro for all that they have done for her and share in communion around the table over stories and memories and all the joy of life. There will be a meal and simply time to spend honoring her and the life that she has lived.

Jessica, along with Shasta and Hank(her 2 pups) has arrived safely in Tucson and is getting herself settled to her new area.
We are so excited and we hope you are too!!
80 meals prepped in 30 minutes? YES! It happened on July 16 with an amazing crew in the kitchen under the direction of Kerry Swindle who said, "It was fun."
Let's make the magic happen again on August 13! All are welcome.

It is necessary to temporarily stop accepting clothing donations at the church while I travel and have surgery. However, the need continues, so please consider taking your donations to St. Mark’s church, 736 E. 2nd St., Mon.-Thurs. 9 am-12 pm. If you are interested in volunteering, send an email to volunteers@casaalitas.org.
There are many ways you can help that can be adapted to your availability and interests. You will make God’s love real.

This Mothers Day, many will celebrate the women in their lives with flowers and kind words. Let us also consider the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, siblings, and daughters across the world facing rape and other gender-based violence daily. We know young ones are also subject to such harm and tribulation.
Join Disciples and the World Council of Churches for Thursdays in Black to build awareness and resistance to permissive attitudes toward rape and violence.
