Food donation guidelines

With deep appreciation for monetary and food donations to Sol Food Initiatives and the Elders' Pantry, we want to make sure that the food being donated is safe and consumable and meets health code standards.

Please know that we CANNOT accept:

  • sandwiches

  • fresh fruit or vegetables

  • perishable food

  • opened bags or cans of food

  • expired cans of food

  • dog or cat food

Rule of thumb: If you wouldn't eat it if it were donated by a stranger, then please do not leave it at the church. Thank you.
