As Tucson continues to receive refugees from Afghanistan we will do our best to listen to the needs when they are present. We just learned of this very urgent request. How fitting is it that we work together?
Once again, Saguaro’s Disciples Women’s Ministries group is collecting for Aviva, a nonprofit that seeks to provide services for children that have been victims of abuse, neglect, or poverty and are in the care of the Department of Child Safety (formerly CPS) in Pima County. See how you can help!

The workshop will focus on healing from loss, not only with regards to the death of a loved one, but perhaps to the disappearance of something else that was cherished. This may be something like a divorce, relationship loss, a failed business venture, or a loss of independence.
