The Year of Intention with Tony Redhouse

  • Saguaro Christian Church 8302 East Broadway Boulevard Tucson, AZ, 85710 United States (map)

Tony Redhouse, of the Navajo Nation, is a Native American sound healer, spiritual teacher, inspirational speaker, eagle/hoop dancer, and award-winning recording artist who uses his voice and music to move communities, worldwide.

FREE. All are welcome.

Tony Redhouse is an expert on Native Art & Spirituality for Recovery. Tony's beloved Father was from the Navajo nation and his Mother is from the Philippines. Tony is a spiritual teacher, visual artist, 5 time Native American Music Awards recording artist, meditation music facilitator, inspirational speaker, Hoop and Eagle dancer, transitional life & death coach and certified Yoga teacher. Tony was first on stage at 5 years old, when his father chose him to represent his Native American culture in dominant society during an international kids' pageant in California.

After decades of struggling with his own substance misuse and being in long term recovery, Tony has parlayed his gifts of music and art to promote a message of courage and hope for others seeking peace and freedom. He adeptly guides clients in a cycle of organized Native Arts and crafts projects that reawaken their innate sense of creativity and empower them to become aware of their true innocence and worth apart from their addiction experience. In each class they participate in ceremony and learn to relax and heal to the sounds of his Native voice, Drum and Flute during a live meditation music segment. All the skills that they practice in these fun, creative classes will become tools of wisdom that can be applicable to their personal recovery and a healthy future.

Tony has shared his wisdom as a keynote speaker for Southwest Schools for Behavioral Health Studies, 54th International Women's AA Conference, the Department of Justice "Victims of Crime on Reservations" conferences (Arizona, Nevada, Michigan), the Environmental Protection Agency (Raleigh Durham, N.C.) and the Department of Commerce (Washington, D.C.).

In 2008, Tony was the host of his own "Tony Redhouse TV Show" (Cox Cable 120 & 97). And on May 25, 2012, the City of Petaluma (California) officially proclaimed May 25 as "Tony Redhouse Day" because of his extensive work with drug addiction programs. He has appeared on the Dr. Oz TV show, "Releasing Emotional Baggage" (September 14, 2012); "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" reality TV Show (S5, 2013); "Keeping Up with the Kardashians: Courage to Change," (S9, E7, March, 2014).

He is also a featured luminary in Deepak Chopra's "Death Makes Life Possible" a film documentary about death and the afterlife. In June of 2019 he presented the opening Ceremony and Concert for Dr. Joe Dispensa and Gregg Braden's 'Sedona Embrace the Bliss' 2019 (6/6/2019)."
