You're Invited to Be Part of Our Lenten Time Capsule: "An Opportune Time"

Lent is a season of reflection, transformation, and sacred opportunities. This year, as we journey together, we invite you to contribute to our “Opportune Time—Time Capsule”—a collection of prayers, symbols, and snapshots of this moment in our faith and in our world.

What is an "Opportune Time—Time Capsule"? It is the moment God calls us to act, reflect, and grow. It is the space where compassion, love, and renewal take root. Together, we will gather artifacts of our present time—our hopes, our challenges, and our commitments—to be opened in the years ahead as a witness to God’s work among us.

What to Bring:

• A prayer, poem, or reflection on what this Lent, this period of faith, means to you.

• A symbol of hope or mercy or compassion—perhaps a photo, a small object, or a newspaper clipping of an issue that moves you.

• A piece of art, a child’s drawing, or a favorite song lyric that speaks to this moment.

• A commitment: How are you answering God’s call this season? What opportunity for transformation do you see?

• Bring your items to Saguaro Christian Church by Sunday March 30, and we will seal them together, a testament to this opportune time in our church’s journey.
