"One Disciples Family, Four Members, Four Faiths" taught by Tim Swindle

Over the course of three weeks (January 13, 20, 27), we’ll discuss how growing up in Disciples of Christ congregations led to four distinctly different faith paths for four people. The people are my family, but I think they highlight certain key questions, so bring your stories, too.

Week one: The minister. What inspires someone to become deeply committed to the church?

Week two: The Buddhist and the Southern Baptist. While the Disciples serve as a bridge for some, they serve as a launching point for others. Why do people move toward, or away from, the Disciples?

Week three: The scientist (that’s me). How does being a scientist fit with religion?
