Retreating

Y'all,

Every year for the past 13 years of ordained ministry I have taken a yearly retreat. The first 4 years I took 2 retreats each for a week a piece. These retreat were with an organization called the The Bethany Fellows. Once I "graduated" out of Bethany Fellows, several of us covenanted to retreat together once a year for as long as we are in ministry. We always gather the week before Ash Wednesday. There are 12 of us who are in this group together. I am so grateful for each of them and the ways we support and love each other. I am also grateful to y'all for allowing me this time away. I will be on retreat with them beginning Feb 8-14. Our retreat is virtual this year, but we will still worship with each other, learn from each other, laugh and cry, be silly and sassy with each other, and share in silence for 24 hours with each other (I know, it is still shocking to me that I can do this).
